"Hi Asa, This weekend was awesome. Got the car home fine - pulled her into the garage. My sister and two of my oldest buddies from California surprised me by showing up to my party. The car was the star Saturday night - everyone was in awe. I could barely get people to leave the garage - they just wanted to ooh and ahh at it all night. Thanks for getting it to me in time for the party - it meant a lot.

PS - My buddy, who has his own shop and helped me build the car, was visibly shaken when he saw it. I think the last straw was the exhaust - as I had initially said I was going to have him do it - and I know he couldn’t have pulled it off Outlaw style. Ha!"
"Hey there! I just wanted to thank you guys for working on my dad's Cougar. I remember growing up wondering if that thing would ever run or if we would turn it into a sandbox. I know he has waited a LONG time to get behind the wheel again and I just wanted to thank you for two things really....one, for doing what you guys do and making some very happy customers....and two, for earning me my first loss. I foolishly challenged him to a race...his 67 Cougar against my 95 Firebird. I challenged him before I saw the pics and heard the engine on your guys' site. l want to seriously thank you for being complete badasses. I know this means a lot to my dad."

"Hi Asa: the parade went well; slow moving so we had to keep the clutch depressed most of the time. Reaction of crowd was great! There were a lot of vintage cars there but only one like the jag: lots of applause, believe it or not; people broke line to stand by the car to have a friend take a photo. Unbelievable. Anyway, thanks again for taking care of it on such short notice and also for the great favor of picking me up."

"69 Chevelle: Off to a good start. The Chevelle took a first place in it's class at the 37th Tidewater Region Antique Automobile Club of America event Saturday. The judges don't tell you much but off the record one of them told me to work on the undercarriage and use correct clamps on all hoses."

"Went on a three day Antique Automobile Club of America "Fall Tour" with 22 other cars to Richmond last week via back roads. Everything from a Duesenburg and '32 Buick to Mustangs, Mercedes a "61 Corvair etc. Very knowledgeable folks. Had two people come up to me at different times to compliment the paint job on the Chevelle. One older gentleman at one of the plantations came up and and said "I was following behind you back there .... man that thing sure is straight". I told them who did the work. Nice compliments so I thought you might like to hear them."
